Implementation Methodology
Phase Three: Education
A. Formal Education Classes:
- 1 to 3 day classes, conducted on-site
- Instructed by SCL using interBiz Student guides
- AS/400 connectivity and completion of classroom facilities is mandatory
- Education is performed using an Educational Database containing client's data
- Education is conducted by module in a very interactive, hands-on environment
- Each Module Owner will present to the class and SCL the current procedure documentation
developed during Process Mapping (Phase 2). Each presentation will be given during the
first few hours of the first day for each module's education class.
- Identify and document potential Modifications, Enhancements and Implementation Issues.
Log issues in the Project Management Access database provided by SCL.
- Project Manager, Module Owner and integrated Module Owners attendance are mandatory.
Appropriate support personnel from line organizations is recommended but not mandatory.
B. Education Reinforcement:
- 1 to 2 days per class, conducted on-site immediately following formal education class
- Facilitated by SCL using interBiz Student Guides
- Reinforces basic functionality with a focus on unique client business practices
- Address specific modification, enhancement or implementation issues identified and
documented during formal education class
- Project Manager, Module Owner and integrated Module Owners attendance is mandatory.
Appropriate support personnel from line organizations is recommended but not mandatory.
