  New messages (activities) can be viewed in your personal in box (New Activity Workbench) 
  A central repository of all activities
  Activity Workbench allows inquiry into the central repository
  Three levels of drill down into the central repository
  Customer, Vendor or Product number
  Activity type (where the activity was initially created Ex.: Order Entry)

Event triggers are RPG programs written custom for you to generate and distribute automatic messaging from your ERP system to anyone with an AS/400 sign on or anyone outside the AS/400 such as customers or vendors. These messages are stored for easy retrieval in Final Link's™ central repository. 

Examples of event triggers could include the following automatic system generated notifications or requests for action:

  If a customer order is cancelled, notification is sent to sales, the master scheduler and forecast coordinator.
  If a large order (by $ amount) is accepted, notification is sent to the scheduler and forecast coordinator.
  When a production order delay becomes likely, notification is sent to a planner:
  When the critical ratio is less than user entered value.
  If days before ship date less than time remaining.
  Notification to the master scheduler and production control when a customer's ship date changes.
  When period-to-date orders exceed period forecast, notification is sent to the forecast coordinator.
  Notification to the Controller and sales on critical past due accounts (linked to Credit Hold).
  Notification is sent to the appropriate manager of anticipated delays based on reason codes.
  Sales and QC are automatically notified about customer return, with inspection determined cause.
  Notification to purchasing if receipt exceeds established tolerances.
  Notification to sales if a new customer places an order, or when the first order for new products is placed.
Notification to sales when an order above a user defined value is shipped.

Final Link is integrated into your ERP system and utilizes your existing database.  All communications are linked with your vendors, products, customers, and activities.
